Ciarán Strange is an award-winning transgender voice actor most known for his androgynous vocal fry and high-octane emotional performances — from comedic hilarity to the ugliest of heartbreaks. His capacity to embody a wide scope of gendered roles, coupled with his signature party trick of effortlessly flipping between his natural English and learned standard American accents, have kept his career dynamic and full of surprises so far!
Always aching to act and sing, Strange made the choice to leave his family, friends, and poky fishing village behind in his late teens — in order to chase his dreams across the Atlantic. At first, he became a familiar face throughout the American geek community via his music. From 2009–20, he toured the US, UK, Canada, and Japan, performing his own original pop-punk-rock music (as well as covers and parodies) at hundreds of shows, conventions, festivals, and Pride celebrations.
Vocal ventures aside, this British-Canadian import has been swept up in the launch of his LGBTQIA+ urban sci-fi series. Its debut, Black Tie by CJ Savage, is a gay romance thriller he pitches as “a younger and more awkward James Bond navigating a world of superhumans”, and an audiobook starring many names you’ll recognize from anime and video games is due out in 2025.

Acoustic foam has been utilized in accordance to best placement for optimal sound quality, which has been compared to that of a Whisper Room by previous clients.

Before I fell into voice acting and discovered my joy and love for it, I toured for over a decade as an indie musician. You can hear some of my original songs below (which were also all co-written by me).
